One of the biggest Baja racing series in Europe is having another race this weekend! It looks like they've got several dozen racers ready to race in a massive indoor dirt arena with plenty of lighting and loads of space! This is the information they sent us:
Just some info about the HBC #8 this Sunday, 7 December. It is an indoor cup race with a full setup as always. Pitlane, restaurant, big driver stand, etc. We now have 41 drivers on the list, but there are more Germans coming, so I think there will be almost 50 drivers. So far as I know the biggest indoor HPI BAJA cup. The local TV channel is coming and also a couple of newspapers. The HBC-8 (HPI BAJA CUP #8 will be in a riding-school indoor. As far we know is this is first time world wide. Details of the event Adress: Manege Gaasterland Wyldemerkwei 1 8571 GC Harich (aan de N359) 0514 - 57 20 92 http://www.manegegaasterland.nl Drivers must be there 9.00am. The circuit is flat sand. The drivers tand is 10 meters long and 2.3 meters high where the drivers are standing. The timing system is AMB and club transponders can be used for free that day. You must have a bracket on the Baja. The bracket will be supplied. It is also possible the use your own transponder. Just give the PT number to the race-leader. There is only one class. Also the rules are simple and set up that way that everybody can join the race without spending a lot of money. In the riding school is a restaurant where you can see the circuit. There is also a big car park so plenty of parking for all the racers and spectators. We will see you there!
