T'was the week before Christmas, and as I wrote, Not a wheel was spinning, not even a bolt.
The screws were tighten to the chassis with care but the weather outside was more for a polar bear.
The fuel was filled and the carb was well fed While visions of high speeds raced though my head.
The glow plug was charged and ready to go, but all I could see out the window was snow.
The bodies were all masked and waiting for paint, And airbrush primed, and I could hardly wait, To laydown some fresh looks, to wow my peeps but the paint was frozen, and a screamed a few beeps.
So I shot a few snaps of my newest creation and sent it to HPI without hesitation.
With new stock car wheels and air filter to boot, When the snow melts, I'm sure to have a hoot
With lightbar from RAM, and custom masks, "How'd you do that?" all my friends ask.
I tell them I reason for this design
so I don't have to listen to then whine
A tribute to the men in blue, to who all we have a debt just a little reminder, so that we won't forget.
