Micro RS4 Wins Car of The Year!

HPI is honored to have been selected for our second "Car of the Year" award from Radio Control Car Action. The innovative Micro RS4 joins the original RS4 Pro in receiving the very prestigious award from Car Action magazine.

In a year that saw many exciting new nitro and electric touring cars, the HPI Micro RS4 emerged victorious as the "2002 Car of the Year." The staff at Car Action summarized their decision by saying that the Micro RS4 is "Not just small: HPI's Micro RS4 makes mini-cars more affordable, fast, and more fun than ever before." Other important factors in the decision included reliability, value, aftermarket support, performance, and the "trend setter" status that the Micro RS4 has achieved.

Also included in the article is an interview with the designer of the Micro RS4, Akira Kogawa. Akira gives some insight on the inspiration and goals that made the Micro project so successful.
